A vigorous but controlled massage designed to stimulate superficial circulation, mobilize adhesions, and smooth the dimpled appearance of the skin. When tissues feel heavy and skin loses its softness, this technique helps to activate, loosen, and restore lightness and comfort to the body.

It is a focused and intelligent approach, created to improve tissue mobility and provide a feeling of more uniform skin, always within your comfort zone.

How It Works

  • Focus on the thighs and glutes, and may include the abdomen and arms when appropriate.
  • Firm techniques: deep sliding, kneading, rhythmic pressure, and gentle mobilization of the fascia (including progressive pinching and rolling), always without sudden movements.
  • Upward movements to stimulate superficial circulation and support a feeling of lightness.
  • Adapted pressure: the goal is not to cause bruising; “good discomfort” is only applied if you request it.
  • Hygiene and clean finish: we use specific cream and leave the skin clean and comfortable at the end.

Benefits

  • Stimulation of superficial circulation.
  • Increased tissue mobility.
  • Smoother and more even skin appearance for a few days (varies from person to person).
  • Feeling of lightness in the thighs and buttocks. General well-being and body activation.

When It's Ideal

Seasonal changes, slight fluid retention, weeks of little movement, preparation for events or routines involving long periods of sitting or standing.

Note: this is a vigorous technique; therefore, we do not combine lymphatic drainage in the same session.

Preparation

  • Come as you are: we will perform initial hygiene.
  • We use a specific cream and cleanse at the end to keep the skin free of residue.
  • Moisturize before and after the massage.
  • Gentle movement in the following hours helps prolong the feeling of lightness.

Not Recommended

Avoid in cases of painful varicose veins with inflammation, venous thrombosis, acute edema/inflammation, skin infections, very fragile skin, or post-surgery without medical clearance.
During pregnancy, we recommend Preganancy Massage.
