When It's Ideal

  • Hydrate before and after the massage.
  • Inform the therapist of any joint limitations or relevant conditions.

Not Recommended

Avoid in cases of fever, acute inflammation, recent unassessed injury, sprain with edema, or severe osteoporosis in the areas to be treated.
